President


As President of ARAMARK Harrison Lodging, Bruce Fears is responsible for ARAMARK’s operations at over 50 conference centers, corporate training centers and specialty hotels in educational environments, as well as 14 state parks and other resort operations across the United States.


Bruce returned to ARAMARK in May 2005 as Executive Vice President, ARAMARK Parks and Resorts. He assumed his current position in October 2005, following the integration of ARAMARK’s conference center and corporate training business with its parks and resorts business.

Bruce has more than 30 years of experience in the hospitality industry. He first joined ARAMARK in 1974 as food and beverage manager of the Skyland Lodge of Shenandoah National Park in Luray, Virginia. During his first tenure with ARAMARK, Bruce rose to the level of vice president, western region. In addition to his parks and resorts responsibilities, he was an integral part of ARAMARK’s management team at the 1980 Winter Olympics in Lake Placid.

Prior to rejoining ARAMARK, Bruce was president of Delaware North Companies Parks and Resorts. In this role, he grew the business to 17 locations across the United States and Canada.

Bruce received his bachelor’s of arts degree from Bridgewater College in Virginia and continued through programs at University of London’s School of Economics and University of Florida’s School of Management. He currently sits on the National Board of the Travel Industry of America and is a founder of the Grand Circle Association. He previously served on the California State Park concessioners board, has testified before Congress on National Park Concession Policy and was the sole U.S. presenter at the World Congress of Parks in Durban, South Africa in 2004.

experience, is presently the Regional Vice President of Operations
for the Southeast Region for ARAMARK Harrison Lodging and
General Manager/Managing Director at The National Conference Center in Lansdowne, Va. Tom's hospitality career has been with Marriott International, where he has served as General Manager at the Key Bridge Marriott in

in Arlington VA, the Washington Marriott and the Bethesda Marriott Suites, in each case demonstrating outstanding leadership and improved sales, profits and market share. Tom began his career with Marriott in 1981 as Catering Sales and Service Manager for the company's 705-room hotel in Philadelphia. He then served as Director of Catering for Marriott properties in Cambridge and Springfield, MA before being promoted to Director of Sales and Marketing, a position he held at Marriott hotels in Washington D.C., New York City, Hartford and Portland, ME. Tom holds a Bachelor of Science degree in economics from Bentley College in Waltham, MA.

Sasha Shultz
Director of Business Development


As Director of Business Development for ARAMARK Harrison Lodging, Sasha Shultz is responsible for formulating and driving the new business strategy. At ARAMARK, Sasha has also held the position of Director of Finance for Harrison Lodging.


Prior to joining ARAMARK, Sasha has held a variety of positions in the areas of both finance and strategy for Fannie Mae, Mercer Management Consulting and Arthur Anderson. Sasha graduated from The University of Virginia McIntire School of Commerce with a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance and holds a Masters in Business Administration from the University of Michigan.

Scott Shontz
Vice President of Operations

With more than 16 years of tenure with ARAMARK Corporation, Scott has held a variety of management positions with domestic and international responsibilities. He joined the ARAMARK Harrison Lodging team in1999 serving in various operations and finance roles, including Regional Vice President, Vice President Finance and CFO and Vice President Business Development.

Scott has been instrumental in the continued growth of ARAMARK's conference center business and continues to play a key role in determining its overall strategy. Currently, he serves as Vice President, Conference Centers for ARAMARK’s Business and Industry Group from the Corporate Headquarters in Philadelphia. In this capacity, Shontz is responsible for working with property owners to develop new business, maintaining existing client relationships and overseeing the operations for the ARAMARK Harrison Lodging portfolio within the Business and Industry Group. Because of his breadth of experience with ARAMARK, he has unique insight to the people, the properties, the operations and the culture of the organization.

Scott earned his Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from the University of Scranton in Scranton, Pa. and his MBA in Finance at St. Josephs University.

Presently, he resides in New Jersey with his wife Kiki, and their three children, Brianna, Zachary and Jaden.
